Week 45
This week we look at great combination of two moves, the shifting scrum-half and the "unders" pass moves, which was used by the Chiefs to score a great try against the Bulls on 24-02-07.

" This is a great try scored after the execution of two great moves, moves which we called the "Crusaders1" or shifting scrum-half move and a straight forward "unders" pass move. The important aspect of the two moves is that it draw defenders out of their defending positions to create gaps in the defence. The beauty of the "Crusaders 1" move is that the defending scrum-half can not defend the move, because he is on the other side of the scrum." - Jan Oberholzer

"Unders"- pass move: He passes a short "unders" pass to his supporting player. He take out his immediate defender, while the second defender puts up his hands to stop the overhead pass. .

If this combination move is well practiced and slickly executed it can beat any defence in the world.
The supporting players runs into the pass with the second defender to slow to get into position.

He draws the fullback and passes to his wing on the outside.
