Week 52
This week we look at an "Unders Pass Move" in the
Super 14 Final on 20-05-07.
Pierre Spies of the Bulls
scored this very important try after a "Under Pass" or
short pass from Victor Matfield.
" This is a great move in which Victor Matfield's running line draws one
defender out of his defensive line, before he uses an "Unders Pass" to put
Pierre Spies through the gap to score" . A well worked move which was
preceded by a line-out and two fast rucks to put maximum pressure on the
Sharks' defensive line."

    Conclusion:
The "Unders Pass" is a running line that is
    very important against modern defensive
systems, because it draws a defender out of
    the defensive line.
