TOUR SOUTH AFRICA ON A RUGBY TOUR
ITINERARY
10  DAY  TOUR FOR COACHES - 11th April to 20th April 2008
Pretoria/Sun City/Cape Town
Day 1 - 11th April 2008
You arrive at Johannesburg International Airport, where you meet by Coach Jan and your tour representative from Joberrugby
Tours
. You book into your Pretoria Hotel.  The rest of the day will be spend at leisure in Pretoria, home of the famous Blue
Bulls rugby team. Later that evening there will be a welcoming function for all the tour members at a local restaurant.
Day  2 - 12th April 2008
After breakfast you leave for a Game Lodge. (About 2 hours drive from Pretoria). A light lunch will be served at the lodge. After a
late afternoon game drive, where you can watch an African sunset with a cold sundowner in your hand, which would set the
mood for the evening, which is a supper at the game lodge " lapa" (Open African restaurant around a fireplace) with the sound
of night scavengers in the background. This is what we call the real African experience.
Day 3 - 13th April 2008
After breakfast, there will be a coaching workshop at the High Performance Centre at the University
of Pretoria by some of South Africa's top rugby coaches.   Later that afternoon the tour party will
depart for Loftus to watch a Super 14 match between the Blue Bulls and the Hurricanes.
Day 4 - 14th April 2008
After an early breakfast you depart for the glitzy, glamorous and magical Sun City resort, which is a
tourists paradise. You book into Sun City Cabanas, just a stroll away from the famous casino and the
super-luxurious Lost City;  you can go for a swim at the Valley of the Waves or walk through the Lost
City's gardens or play a game of golf at the Gary Player Golf Course. Supper is an African "Potjiekos", a
traditional African meat and vegetable meal.
Day 5 - 15th April 2008
After breakfast you visit the Pilansberg Nature Reserve, where you can see the Big Five and all the antelope roaming freely.
After watching the elephants and lions in this lovely part of Africa, you return to your Pretoria Hotel and later the evening you
visit one of the local rugby clubs for a great evening function with your South African hosts.
Day 6 - 16th April 2008
After breakfast you attend a morning practice of the famous Blue Bulls rugby team at Loftus Versfeld
Stadium. After lunch, where you will meet some of the Bulls players, you depart for  one of  Pretoria's
rugby schools where you will help with the coaching of some of the youngsters under the supervision of
Coach Jan. You return to your Pretoria Hotel, which will be followed by a supper at a traditional Pretoria
restaurant
.  
Day 7 - 17th April 2008
After breakfast you depart for Cape Town via Johannesburg International Airport: After you booked into your local hotel, you will
have lunch at one of the hotel's restaurants. The rest of afternoon Coach Jan conducts the first part of his famous modern
rugby coaching workshops. Supper will be at Cape Town's world famous Victoria Waterfront with all its eateries, shops and
different entertainment.
Day 8 - 18th April 2008
After Breakfast you visit Cape Town's famous Table Mountain, where you can experience Cape
Town and all its beaches from the top of the mountain. After a light lunch you leave for the famous
town of Stellenbosch where you will visit this famous Rugby University.  This afternoon Coach Jan
will conduct the second part of his coaching workshop at the Stellenbosch Rugby Academy. The
evening you will attend matches at the University Club and afterwards you will enjoy a night out in
this famous university town.
Day 9 - 19th April 2008
After breakfast you depart for morning tour of the well-known Cape wine estates and you will take a look at some of Cape
Town's famous beaches where you can see all the lovely girls bathing in the sun. The afternoon you will watch a Super !4
match of the Stormers at the famous Newlands Stadium with thousands of shouting Stormer fans. Supper is at a local Malay
restaurant, where they serve the best curries you can get. This is you  last evening in South Africa and it will be the last time
you can enjoy the real African rugby experience.
Day 10 - 20th April 2008
After an early breakfast you depart from Cape Town International to Johannesburg to connect to
your flight home after an unforgettable African experience.  
Tour Cost: -

From 1560(USD)  or 780 GBP per person (Inland cost only)
The cost of flying from your country and back must be added to the inland
cost.

This includes the following: -
1) Accommodation in 3-star Hotels or Lodges.
2) All meals and entertainment as per itinerary.
3) Luxury inland traveling plus the flight from Johannesburg to Cape Town and back
4) Team sweater and golf shirt from the
Joberrugby Tours.
5) The tour party will accompanied by a representatives from
Joberrugby Tours to look after them.
