This week we look at a very effective method of
bridging over the tackled ball.
The advantage of
this method is that only the nearest two player are
committed to effectively secure the tackled ball.

" This is a  very effective method and it looks much more
organized than the old tendency in which you find bodies
over and all around the tackled ball. "

Lets look at the first example
_____________________________________________________________________________

    What advantage of this method?
  1. The main advantage of this method is that you only commit two players to secure the tackled ball.
  2. The other advantage is that the opposition can get to the ball, because the laws say that the
opposition must go through the gate, which in this instance is very difficult.
  3. Lastly if the opposition try to counter ruck the two bridging players they can be easily penalised
    for coming from the side.

Lets look at the second example
The ball is secured and ready to be
played.
The second player binds to the first
player, who stands on all fours over
the tackled ball.
He steps over the tackled ball, while
the second player arrives at the
tackled ball.
The first player arrives at the tackled
ball.
