the correct technique on how to form an effective
rolling maul.

Coaches must note that the most important factor in effective mauling in the modern era is to get the ball
away from the center of the maul, where the ball is trapped. By binding over the ripper, the ripper can
move to the back, while the maul is moving forward. The player with the ball can then easily attack the
space round the maul when the maul stop moving.
