of a Blues player placing the ball.

How to teach the placing of the ball to youngsters
The player goes down and he
is holding firmly onto the ball.
Note how the supporting player
bridges legs apart over the ball

The easiest method to teach youngsters is to let
them place the ball with a rhythm i.e. let them count
out loudly.

COUNT THREE: He takes his
hand off the ball
COUNT TWO: The players

chest.
The advanced way of placing the ball on the ground
With the advanced method of
placing the ball the player
uses his upper body to place
the ball further from his body.
