| The player carries the ball loosely in his hand and he can easily looses the ball when he makes contact. The ball must be held tightly against the body. |
| The body position for the clean-out is much to high. (This is an old South African rugby sickness.) |

| The player uses only his arms to place the ball. He must use his upper body to place the ball further. |
