Advantage of Drill
A great offloading drill that teaches players how to
execute the push pass and the one and two
handed passes in the tackle situation.
Equipment needed:
8 - 14 Marker cones
1 Rugby ball per three players.

Description of the drill:
1) For the execution of the drill see the
“coaching video clip”.
2) It is important to note that the player who
is offloading, is the next tackler.
3) The coach can nominate the one of the
three offload passes before the start of each
drill.
Note: This drill is designed to disorientate the players by changing direction each time they enter a square in which to execute the offload.
