1. It is important for players running around to first straighten the line before passing to the drifting player. |





1. The player running around creates an extra player in the backline and because the opposing inside centre must look after the running around player it creates a man over in the attacking backline. 2. That is the main reason why the attacking inside centre must shift to give space for the running around player to run into. |
