The Single Dummy Runner Move

In this move we use the inside centre as a dummy runner

Advantage of the moves
If we can keep the cross defenders on the inside, the back-line
players can carry on their attack man to man.

Description of the move:
The scrumhalf (9) passes the ball to the flyhalf (10), who
passes the ball behind the dummy runner(12) to the outside
centre(13) who carries on the attack.

Description of the move:
The scrumhalf (9) passes the ball to the flyhalf (10), who
passes the ball behind the dummy runners (12 &13) to the
fullback (15) who carries on the attack.

The Rule Book: The coaches must remember that if the dummy runners make contact with the opposition the referee can award a penalty for obstruction.
